- Apply systems engineering methodology in patient monitoring development projects
- Capture cross-disciplinary development artifacts (requirements, design decisions, use scenarios, FMEAs, safety risk assessments, architectural elements) in system models using SysML based methodology
- Ensure common system understanding of the project team by active cross-functional communication
- Create and maintain system models comprising configuration management and controlling data integrity and access permissions
- Provide and maintain necessary views to the system model as required by different stakeholders and roles
- Provide first level support to project team members for entering and retrieving data into/from the model
- Ownership of design documents generated from model data as required by the design controls processes
- BA or Master in the area of Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Skills and affinity to describe complex systems and their behaviour using structured methodologies
- Systems engineering knowledge: requirements engineering; systems architecture modelling (HW+SW), reliability & safety engineering
- Excellent communication skills to moderate information flow between cross-functional stakeholders and engineering disciplines
- MBSE: Understand SysML/UML and their meaning for systems engineering
- Modeling tools ( Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeler)
- Awareness of regulatory boundary conditions that apply when operating in the area of medical device manufacturing
- Proficient language skills in English and German

This involves creation and maintenance of cross disciplinary development artifacts as well as driving and moderating the systems engineering workflow between different teams, functions and stakeholders.

the Systems Engineering department within the R&D function of Hospital Patient Monitoring. This team is responsible to operationalize Systems Engineering practices in various patient monitoring development projects.
