For a client of us - a leader in asset management - we are looking for a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial and results-oriented

(Senior) Portfolio Manager (gn), Fixed Income - Focus: Emerging Markets

The position is based in Frankfurt am Main.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of fixed income portfolios with a focus on emerging markets
• Collaboration in the further development of the various product strategies
• Further development of tools for asset management solutions in the area of emerging market bonds
• Active participation in the overarching multi-asset investment process: contributing to investment ideas and optimizing tactical portfolio positioning
• Sales support and attendance at investment committee meetings with investors, beauty contests etc.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• University degree with a quantitative focus (e.g. finance, mathematics, physics, computer science or economics)
• Additional qualifications such as CFA or CIIA an advantage
• Experience (> 5years) in the management of fixed income investment funds and securities portfolios in the emerging markets sector, including currency exposure
• Strong interest in the emerging markets investment field
• ESG knowledge is an advantage
• Experienced with Bloomberg, MS Excel (incl. VBA) and Python
• Fluent German and very good written and spoken English skills
