A well-established chemical, pharmaceutical, and life sciences company based in Düsseldorf is seeking to expand its EU business.

Tasks

• Accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial and asset accounting
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for the head office in Japan and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German accounting standards)
• Handling all financial transactions
• Collaboration with financial and tax auditors, providing information and supporting documentation
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns and other mandatory reporting, including submissions

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship/studies or equivalent
• First relevant working experience in an Accounting role
• Native or fluent Japanese as well as good to fluent German and English language skills
• ERP system knowledge
