- Design and implement Europe North construction sales strategy
- Deliver budget and sales objectives, monitored by accurate monthly forecasting
- Adjust volumes, product mix and selling price to meet demand/supply balance, economic KPIs and competitor's actions, with the target to develop an effective sales action plan
- Nurture the regional sales staff by recruiting, evaluating, training, coaching and appraising the results, implementing regular sales meeting and one to one meeting driven by commercial excellence
- To work with the technical and marketing department in order to develop a customer focused product and sales strategy
- Coordinating claims and manage the customer communication
- Implementing a strong analytical sales approach based on business opportunities – forecasting and sales analysis, supported by the company's software tool like: C4C, Arkieva-SAC
- Monitoring customer's credit facilities and payment behaviour, balancing cash flow and sales performance, in coordination with the credit and finance department
- Outstanding Business integrity
- University degree
- Fluent in German and English languages (preferable German native speaker)
- Strong track record in Sales & Marketing leadership within speciality Chemicals (experience in construction materials, polymer dispersions and other raw materials and/or downstream products would be considered a plus)
- Experience working across cultures in a global organisation
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues globally
- Outstanding interpersonal skills across cultures
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A mission-driven, team player with the desire to make an impact and difference
- Must be able to demonstrable drive, determination, self-motivation

This position is responsible for managing construction business with a strong focus on volumes and margin in the Europe North region (EU North: UK & Ireland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Iceland, Nordics,
Poland and DACH). Reporting to the Global Sales Director Construction Solutions and working in collaboration with Product Manager, Customer Service, Distribution Manager, Technical Department and
Finance to develop a solid and consistent short/medium-term commercial strategy, with sales volume and gross margin driven KPIs, targeting GDP+ annual growth based on the market verticals.
