    Our German Office is rapidly growing to over 300 employees across 4 offices, and we are therefore looking for an Operations Director (m/f/d) in Munich to support us scaling our business for the next growth phase. We are looking for an experienced leader with a high level of engagement culture, operational savviness and strong communication skills while adding value to the business by improving efficiency.

    The right candidate (m/f/d) will work closely with the German Country Heads as well as taking over the responsibility for the local Support Service functions to improve and professionalize the internal communication and processing of day-to-day operations and special projects regarding operational efficiencies and to evolve our support infrastructure.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Ultimate responsible for day-to-day office affairs
    • Coordination of different local functions (HR, Marketing, Office Management etc.)
    • Fostering and implementation of regional & global strategic projects across 4 offices
    • Roll out of new firm processes and adapting them to the office/jurisdiction
    • Main point of contact for MDs regarding the local non-billable staff management
    • Participation in local MD meetings
    • Office headcount planning and reporting (billable & non-billable)
    • Contributing and proposing local culture/teambuilding initiatives to promote the right A&M culture in the office
    • Leading Diversity & Inclusion local policies and initiatives along the MDs
    • Support of office ESG initiatives
    • Support of the Country Heads in managing day-to-day office related business as well as the analysis to take Real Estate decisions
    • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant office vendors; negotiate contracts for office services and improve frame contract set up; KPI controlling
    • Escalation of issues and challenges to the regional contact for EMEA operations and functions
    • Coordination with and escalation to EMEA Legal Office

    Candidate requirements:

    • Min years of operations lead experience
    • Adequate seniority and experience level to work along MDs in local businesses
    • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
    • Knowledge and red flagging of potential compliance issues derived from local regulations
    • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization (top-down and down-up)
    • People management skills, including grievance processing (if senior level)
    • Good communication oral and written; fluency in German and English
    • Understands the business and the challenges of their role
    • Knowledge of local administrative regulation and capability of maintaining meaningful discussions with local external advisors
