In order to support our Navigation Solutions department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a PhD student on Definition of a space based system of system architecture for Safety Critical applications (d/m/f).

The objective of this PhD is to develop System Architecture Engineering capabilities required to define future System of Systems (SoS) Satellite Navigation architectures.

Requirement Identification Components definitions Architecture definition Multi-Criterion Optimisation Desired skills and qualifications:
Strong knowledge of System Engineering/System Architecture, MBSE, and MBSE modelers, Ontologies. Good knowledges of Navigation, Safety and Embedded systems. Fluent English is mandatory, German and French would be a plus.
