What Else You Need to Know

• Vocational School: There is no local vocational school, instead, you will attend specific compact seminars at the food academy Neuwied.
• In addition to face-to-face events, you have the opportunity to learn independently and flexibly with our EDEKA-next learning portal.
• Projects: During your training, you will also participate in various projects such as sales promotion.
• Digital Learning: With our Quiz App WizzUp, you can learn relevant knowledge alone or with colleagues to prepare for exams.
• Career Opportunities:

• The practical training takes place at our EDEKA Center in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald, Hüttenstraße.

• Duration: 36 months
• 17 weeks of block seminars plus examination days

Duration and Process

The form of your training is considered a practical alternative to a business administration degree. It usually lasts three years. Afterward, you will have two qualifications: Retail Saleswoman and Trade Specialist (which today corresponds to a Bachelor's degree level). Qualifications that directly help future leaders secure a responsible position.
