- Administration of linux servers and bioinformatics software in an HPC environment
- Interact with researchers and IT departments to define and implement new requirements
- System documentation, maintenance and optimization
- Support scientific teams with software review and installation
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with linux server administration, High Performance Computing (HPC) and workload management (e.g. Slurm) in a multi-user environment
- Familiar with container technologies and environment management (e.g. Docker, Singularity, Conda)
- Knowledge of software development methodology and programming experience is a plus
- Experience with bioinformatics tools is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
- Fluency in English
