- Design aircraft thermal control systems (TCS) including component sizing, selection, and specification
- Build thermal models using design data and execute the analysis to determine thermal system performance
- Develop thermal test plans, conduct the testing, compare with model predictions, and document the results
- Provide on-site testing support: data & instrumentation verification to ensure test objectives will be met
- Support the integration team, including hands on assembly of TCS prototypes and flight hardware
- Write and present technical reports
- Align Thermals & Secondary Flow tasks and boundary conditions
- Create, review and update functional interface documents (CICR)
- Support all required certification and post-certification activities needing Thermals & Secondary Flow input
- Coordinate between technical partners, vendors, and other subsystem to assess design progress, schedule, and risks
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering.
- Master's Degree (preferred) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Thermals, or Master of Science.
- Finite Element Modelling Experience (internship, master/bachelor thesis).
- Turbomachinery Background.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Programming Language: Python.
- Team-centered mindset, with a focus on collaborating with and supporting those around you.
- Effective communication skills to strengthen cross-functional interactions and foster intra-team learning.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Fluency in English & German.
