  • Job Overview
    We are looking for an experienced Speech Therapist to join the Speech Therapy clinic in Wittlich. You will provide therapy and rehabilitations services to patients in our speech therapy facility. We are searching for a flexible, resourceful speech therapist to join our team. The speech therapist's responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing individual treatment plans, liaising with teachers, family members, and other healthcare professionals, administering therapy and monitoring progress, and ensuring patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques. You should also be able to work with patients from different backgrounds.

    QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current and active BS or master's degree in Speech Therapy or speech-language pathology.
  • Experience with certain disorders and age groups may be required.
  • Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Responsibilities
  • Performing patient assessments.

  • Administering therapy and monitoring progress.
  • Ensuring patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques.
  • Assessing and treating speech and language disorders.
  • Working with people who have a variety of disorders ranging from the inability to produce sounds, to voice fluency problems or abnormal speech.
  • Evaluating and documenting the ability of the client and caregiver to participate in care.
  • Participating in treatment teams.
  • Maintaining knowledge of theories and techniques in the field of communication disorders.
