    Job Title: Automation Technician at Berlin Water Company

    Location: Wandlitz, Mühlenbecker Straße 9

    Start / Conditions: Immediate start / Permanent position. The role includes on-call duty.

    Description:

    • Perform maintenance, inspection, repair, and optimization on electrical systems and complex automation systems
    • Create, modify, and maintain computer programs using integration and programming tools like VBA or similar
    • Operate equipment on operator systems for error analysis
    • Clarify operator and system requirements
    • Independently develop, implement, and commission operator-specific automation solutions with hardware and software

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Automation Technology
    • Alternatively, completion as a state-certified technician in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology with solid knowledge in relevant tasks
    • Additional qualifications/certifications for programming, error analysis, and commissioning of various technical systems
    • Experience working with control systems and control systems
    • Class B driver's license
    • Good PC/MS Office skills
    • Independent and logical thinker
