I’m Abednego, a passionate educator and dedicated guidance counselor committed to nurturing both minds and hearts. With a strong foundation in teaching, I strive to create a classroom environment that sparks curiosity, encourages critical thinking, and celebrates every student's unique potential. As a counselor, I walk alongside students in their personal and academic journeys—offering support, building resilience, and helping them discover their path with confidence and clarity.
Whether in the classroom or one-on-one, my mission is to empower young people to grow not just academically, but emotionally and socially. I believe that education is most powerful when it’s rooted in empathy, encouragement, and purpose.
 

With a strong foundation in English education and a deep commitment to student well-being, I have cultivated a dynamic career as both a teacher and guidance counselor. Over the years, I’ve developed and delivered engaging English language instruction tailored to diverse learning styles, helping students build confidence in communication, critical thinking, and literary analysis. My classroom is a space where curiosity thrives and language becomes a tool for empowerment.
Beyond academics, I serve as a guidance and counseling personnel, offering compassionate support to students navigating personal, social, and academic challenges. I provide one-on-one counseling, facilitate group sessions, and collaborate with families and staff to create holistic development plans. My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and solution-focused strategies that foster resilience and self-awareness.

I hold a Master of Arts in English Education, where I specialized in advanced language instruction, curriculum development, and learner-centered pedagogy. My training emphasized critical literacy, inclusive teaching strategies, and the integration of counseling principles to support holistic student growth.
