Ángela Parrado Gomez

I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in International Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Otto von Guericke Universität Magdeburg with a specialization in Marketing. The degree stands out due to its high relevance not solely academically, but also practically, with a wide range of modules to broaden my expertise and skillset. My university years during my Bachelor’s Degree in Economics have assisted me in gaining specialized knowledge in the field. I have always been a highly motivated student, graduating with 18 Honourable Mentions. During my exchange year at the California State University, USA, I attended major courses which helped me specialize and I was exposed to international environments. Now I want to gain professional experience at a Studentenwerk.

I am a native Spanish speaker with an advanced level in English and an intermediate knowledge of French and German. The opportunity to continue my development of different languages in a business context is another major goal of mine, as I consider them a key feature of my business skillset.

Within my Traineeship as a Market Analyst at Interconnection Consulting (Vienna, AT), I was leading the Marketing Team and implementing new strategies for a rapidly developing start-up called Magic World Barcelona. Here I also discovered and strengthened my affinity for Marketing Management. 

I proved myself capable of adapting to diverse environments, such as international exchanges or home to home in England, France and Turkey. Last year I worked in the coast of Croatia as a Sales Manager, attending mostly German costumers and allowing me to improve my German skills. I also did a previous internship in the public sector at the Ministry of Employment, Research and Universities of the Region of Murcia, Spain. I am always enthusiastic about working in a cross-cultural team.
