Atchatha Covai Veluchamy

My name is Atchatha Covai Veluchamy. I am currently pursuing my 2nd semester of master’s degree in International Business Economics (M.Sc.,) at Technical University of Ilmenau. I am writing this to express my interest to apply for the voluntary internship in Marketing Project Management.

During my academic journey, I achieved exceptional results, securing admission to one of India's top-ranked institutions with a remarkable score of 100% in allthe key subjects: Business Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, and Accountancy.

As a Business Analyst trainee at Brainnest in Bremen, Germany, I utilized PESTEL, SWOT, and Porter's Five Forces tools to identify critical success factors and competitive positions for diverse companies. Additionally, my churn rate analysis helped identify and rectify checkout process bottlenecks, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and retention rates.

I recently conducted research on the relationship between personal initiative and employee well-being, uncovering key factors that promote a healthy work environment. Furthermore, I employed statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques to examine the impact of Covid-19 on international trade.I conducted two research projects in my 1st semester: one analyzing public perceptions of the European Union using R for data analysis, and the other utilizing R's data mining and clustering techniques to identify health clusters in Twitter discussions. I have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and have completed online certification courses in Excel and SPSS for data analysis, enhancing my skills. Additionally, I have a solid foundation in SQL and Power BI.

My vision is to utilize my analytical skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in projects, contributing to positive outcomes for organizations and stakeholders involved. My master’s programme provides a theoretical insight into Business-Analysis, Science & Research, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management. However, I believe that an industrial experience is required to prove my learnings as well as to enhance my skills and knowledge.

I can start the position from 1st October 2023, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your organization for a 6-month period. Following my internship, I am also willing to write my Thesis if I find any suitable topic for my research. The professional experience and academic experience portion of my resume highlights my career profile and academic accomplishments that are also in alignment with this position. Through the 'Insurance for Business Process Services' program with Tata Consultancy Services, I gained expertise in insurance, specializing in insurance principles, risk assessment, processing claims and relationship management. As a Business Development intern at Vikasini Traders, I gained hands-on experience in creating reports and dashboards using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to optimize sales strategies.
