Chetan Talwar

An individual who is passionate about making a significant contribution in the field of economics, consultancy, strategic and policy decision support. Currently, working as a Ph.D. researcher at the TU Braunschweig, Germany on sustainable air transport system for the future. Specifically, my focus is to evaluate various sustainable transition pathways for air transport system based on economic, environmental, strategic and political decisions and factors due to the introduction of new potential technological innovations i.e., SAF, Hydrogen, Hydrogen-electric and electric propulsion systems.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at TU Braunschweig, Germany, Chetan's research revolves around developing sustainable pathways for the future of air transport systems. Through the utilization of system dynamics simulation methodology, Chetan evaluates various transition pathways by considering economic, environmental, strategic, and political factors. As a Research Associate at the Chair of Production and Logistics, Institute for automotive management and industrial production, Chetan collaborates with stakeholders in the air transport system to assess their operations, develop a dynamic air transport system simulation model, and model potential technological solutions that consider the socio-economic and environmental aspects. Chetan's responsibilities also include analyzing and evaluating transition pathways to achieve sustainable air transport solutions. Additionally, Chetan has prior experience as a Research Analyst and Management Trainee at Concept International Business Consulting, where he conducted refined market research, prepared business presentations, and managed sales leads. 

With a strong academic background, including a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in public policies, Chetan possesses a diverse set of skills. These skills range from data analysis using tools like Tableau, Stata/SPSS, and R Commander, to project management, teamwork, and effective communication. Furthermore, Chetan is a Heartfulness meditation trainer and volunteer, conducting meditation sessions for individuals and groups. With proficiency in English, limited proficiency in German and Spanish, and native proficiency in Hindi, Chetan's language skills enable effective communication across different cultures and contexts.
