Dai Nguyen

My name is Dai, i am from Vietnam and currently living and studying Communication Design in Berlin at BTK (University of applied sciences Europe). I am also a Social Documentary and street photographer with a passion for telling stories through photographs and making an ordinary life moment and situation look exciting or an unusual way that moves the viewer. Graphic Design is a great way to allow oneself the creative freedom to express ideas on a design, therefore i believe that it is a great outlet where great ideas and inventions can be made out of all the inspirations you have. It is also a tool that is used to visually communicate, some might say a visual language of a sort... to communicate and send effective messages to targeted audience. In a way it is similar to Street Photography and I believe that being a designer and photographer are 2 excellent elements that go hand in hand with each other. One helps one another effectively deliver their job. Therefore I love to combine my skills both in photography and Graphic Design and potentially help clients, customers to better visualize and realize their ideas in a more articulate and communicative manner.

• In the past I've designed marketing materials for my school in Vietnam, surpervising marketing campaign for my school's visual arts Exhibition
• I've also worked and collaborated with a local company in Vietnam to design leaflets and help to design and develop their brand identities

I'm currently studying Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences Europe in Berlin
