I am Singaporean, married to a German from Hamburg and we wish to relocate back to Hamburg. I enjoy my work and having trained as Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in London, more than 15 years with Volkswagen Group and attended the Top Management program, together with 3 years in Private Equity and Owner Representative for W Hotel Dubai, I am well placed to add value.

I am hands-on when required but with an initial outlook on the big picture always.

I wish to work at the highest levels whilst having a hands-on approach when required. Senior roles as a CFO or Head of Investor Relations or a non-executive Board position would be of interest.

Diren qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA - ICAEW) with Ernst & Young, London. He then spent more than ten years in automotive with Jardine Cycle & Carriage, Audi Asia Pacific (a division of Volkswagen Group Singapore) and Volkswagen Group Singapore in a Group Finance role. He was selected for the VW Group Top Management program in 2004 which he completed successfully. Diren has shown the ability to adapt when he spent two years as a COO/CFO for non-profit entity and three years as Deputy Group CFO at a Private Equity firm. He returned to Automotive at the Volkswagen Group in 2012 until 2018 and joined a mix of Automotive, Fashion Brands, Food & Retail and Hotel at Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Group. He has since joined a more than established and esteemed Group in WJ Towell where he currently works in Muscat. He has in excess of 33 years work experience, having shown proven ability in what he does - he executes, delivers promptly and is a safe and trusted individual who enjoys his work.
