Erfahrung
I have research experience in laboratories in Italy, France, and Germany, where I gained proficiency in basic molecular techniques (DNA, RNA and protein isolation, PCR, qPCR, western blot), the hypoxic workstation, isolation of human stem cells, manipulation of primary, cancer, and commercial cell lines, cellular assays (proliferation, differentiation, MTT, trans-well, pulldown, colony-forming capacity, apoptosis, wound-healing), plasmids cloning and purification, siRNA and plasmid DNA transfection, lentiviral production and transduction, immunofluorescence, histological staining and immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and animal experimentation. I am proficient in establishing protocols, training undergraduate students, presenting data at conferences, and writing scientific manuscripts.
Ausbildung
I managed a doctoral project at the RWTH University Clinic of Aachen (GERMANY) in the Molecular Gynecology Laboratory where I demonstrated that IRAK2 targeting decreases the growth of triple-negative breast cancer cells.
