Hanna Seidel

Hey, 

I'm Hanna, a German director and I studied advertising at the reknown Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and have won many international and national film awards, like the German Filmnewcomer Award (First Steps Awad), the One Club Gold and a Golden Andy, just to name a few. In addition to my work as a director and writer, I was the leader of the political campaign that successfully persuaded German politicians to ban Upskirting. My work as a writer (for over 10 years) is not only about creating exciting concepts, but also about writing thrilling copy and creating smashing Social Media campaigns. My latest fiction project is the sci-fi comedy "Boom - One Band, 1000 problems" for the tv channel ARD Kultur, which brought me a nomination for the New Faces Award. 

I'm used to working remotely with international teams and always looking forward to meeting new people and dealing with exciting challenges.

I have been working for the advertising industry since 2015. I have mainly written Concepts (for Campaigns, Commercials, Social Media), Copy and Pitches. So far I had the pleasure to work with great clients like Wise, Thomann, Brother, Sparkasse and many more.

After gramma school I went to London and took some art classes. After that I've worked 6 months as a trainee for an online tv, channel, but really was the Social Media Manager, as the crew was small. So I wrote concepts and filmed the content and edited it. After that I studied Fictional Arts at the University of Hildesheim, which was mainly Film, Social Media, Popular Culture and Creative Writing and Finished 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts. During that time I started to freelance for agencies.

2016-2020 I studied in the advertising class of the Filmakademie Baden Württemberg, which told me a lot about brands and how to properly write concepts, copy and pitches. And 2020-2024 I added Fictional Directing to gain even more experience in Story Telling and Dramaturgy.
