It is with great pleasure that I would like to apply for the position of Executive Creative Director.
I am currently Consultant Creative/Strategy Director to a number of international brands and their demand to service them globally - advising on all marketing aspects in B2B and B2C communications with a strong emphasis on digital/VR/AR/MetaV, with clients like the ABB, Austrian Tourism Board, Google, Cisco, Hewlett Packard and Porsche in my portfolio.
At gyro I was CD for the German based EMEA operations: building its presence, creative team, developing and implementing company culture and running all day-to-day creative processes including pitch/organic growth, first contact point to client, strategic alignment, overseeing creative development and output. In my time with gyro the Munich based agency grew from five to 35 head outfit.
In my previous capacity as Regional Creative Director at Memac Ogilvy I reported directly to the Regional Manager - bringing my expertise as a digital specialist to the relatively young market in Saudi Arabia, and assisting offices in the GCC from Dubai, to as far as Tunisia. As head of the department I was directly responsible for leading the strategic approaches to individual clients, increasing the creative output of the group and maintaining a high degree of efficiency and creativity.
What do I bring to the table? More than 20 years experience. A confident team leader. An exceptional eye for design and branding. Extensive experience in strategic development, and an award winning portfolio of work.
Not to mention, as a South African/German mix - a high degree of South African efficiency and dose of good German humour (or was that the other way round?).

As a consultant I had the opportunity to support a number of interesting long term projects in the Middle East. Bringing together expertise from around the world to launch and build awareness for some of the biggest brands.
