Janak Ghalsasi

Hello,

I am Janak Ghalsasi, a Multidisciplinary Designer with 7 years of experience - working across a wide range of sectors mainly in Industrial Design Graphic Design and UI UX Design. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Program in Strategic Design and also work as a freelance Industrial Designer in the healthcare space. I am always trying to strike that elusive balance between emotions and business.

I am Janak Ghalsasi, a Multidisciplinary Designer with seven years of experience - working across a wide range of sectors mainly in Industrial Design and UI UX Design. Between 2021 - 2022 I spent 1.5 years as the Lead Designer at Quintessential Design Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India where I developed Smart Helmet systems. This involved me focusing on Industrial Design as well as UI UX projects with world-renowned helmet manufacturers and communication specialists, emergency service providers along with managing the design team. Along with my above-mentioned responsibilities, I also looked after social media content and graphic design which was required during the rebranding of the company. In 2020, I spent a year as the Lead Designer at Bempu Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. In Bengaluru, India where I was in charge of the whole gamut of product design development starting from research to production. My team’s main focus was the design and development of neonatal healthcare products for developing countries. My work was centred around Kangaroo Mother Care - including its adoption and compliance.

I am born and brought up in Pune, India and completed my schooling there in 2010. Between 2010 - 2015 I completed my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from MIT Institute of Design in Pune, India. I am currently pursuing a Master's Program in Strategic Design at SRH University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany.
