Julia Meier

I am a marketing specialist with customer success experience. 

I am originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil but now I am based in Hamburg. I have a bachelor´s degree in communication and a master's degree in marketing. In Brazil, I co-founded a startup for wedding events and this was my first contact with customer service, customer journey, and the B2B and B2C market. One thing that made me proud during this time was being able to build effective communication between customers and suppliers, find solutions for them and develop negotiation skills.

During this time I was also a volunteer in an NGO that welcomed refugees who had recently arrived in Brazil - there I was in charge of trilingual assistance in Portuguese, French, and English.

About 3 years ago my husband was transferred to Munich for work and I started working as a customer relationship manager at a Fintech called Crosscard. I provided customer support in English, French, and Portuguese, and was also responsible for the BOT - the tool that solved problems before he or she needed live support - it was basically the customer journey to an agent. As a result, I got closer to the product, design, and marketing departments and in 3 months I was also part of the marketing team.
