Dear Hiring Manager,  
I am writing to you with great interest in your offered position. 

Throughout my employment history, you will see that i have worked within diverse departments/stores that have all been designed/directed towards various different customer bases’, showcasing my expertise and strive for growth within my employments and allowing my knowledge of fabrics, selling techniques, benefits, production, and environmental costs to grow. 

 I would like to outline my personal passion for fashion style & textiles, color theory, organization, display, and a coherent flow of beauty within any given space. I have a very keen eye for detail within designs, nothing gets passed me as I notice everything. I have a natural talent for design, I have studied colors and have been part of reconstruction and redesigning of homes and spaces since I was a teenager, creating my own outlines of spaces and furnishing rooms. Being able to use this previous passion within my work today is very rewarding. 

Aside from the optical appeal of a store/business, i am also always viewing the experience and view from the customer, as of course i shop myself and do always fall victim to upsells, I know exactly how the customer works. For me displays are not just appealing but must be functional.  

I have been told by customers that they very much enjoy the outfits i put together (for children) and would buy them together at hand. Visual appeal and design play a big role in my personal life and so does appealing organization and  

I have 5 years’ experience specializing in the field of Visual Merchandising, with my entire career being based in the retail industry. I like to lead by example, and ‘show rather than tell’ my coworkers, by providing them with all the tools and given knowledge to succeed. I appreciate positive and critical feedback, so that I can become better and push my team to also be at their best. I am empathetic, respectful, reliable, considerate, and inclusive of all members of my team.  

I live and breathe by the brand codes, as I usually pick employers that resonate with my personal beliefs and way of living. I am an extremely hard worker, I have trained and onboarded employees, held lectures on product knowledge and selling techniques and have opened stores.  

I work very fast and efficiently independently around the clock, prioritizing projects to ensure they are finished perfectly and on time. I enjoy working alone and do so very well, and at the same time, am a very open and engaging team player, lending a helping hand wherever needed to ensure the success of the business. I am a European Citizen with a German valid Passport, currently residing in Germany, and ready to relocate within Europe for new employment. Although I have been living in Canada for the last 16 years, I am ready to bring all that I have learned in the American Retail Industry to the European Market and use my specialties of Visual Design and Merchandise to adhere to the growth and success of the business.
