Über Md Rifad Ahmed:
My name is Md Rifad Ahmed. I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Materials Science at Technische Universität Darmstadt. Previously, I attained a 4-year B.Sc. (Honors) in Physics from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Bangladesh, with a grade point average of 3.42 out of 4.00. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a deep fascination for the applications of materials in renewable energy and sustainable technologies. My coursework has provided me with a solid foundation in thermodynamics, solid-state physics, and quantum mechanics, enabling me to understand the fundamental principles underlying renewable energies.
Erfahrung
By combining both simulation and experimental work, I built up a comprehensive understanding of renewable technology. Recently, I completed a research project (Advanced Research Lab) on the electrical properties, thermal properties, and power factor of CaTiO3 a high entropy thermoelectric material where I used material synthesis by Solid state reaction and characterization by XRD and SEM as well as the performance testing. In the meantime, I am doing a HiWi (Hilfswissenschaftler) project on Chalcogenides as thermoelectric materials by DFT Study. In addition, for the partial fulfillment of my B.Sc. (Hons) degree, I have accomplished a project where I performed a comprehensive set of first-principles calculations to study the electronic, optical, and thermoelectric transport properties of SrBiO3.
