Nina Ebel

My name is Nina Ebel and I am currently in my final year of studies at the University of Mannheim, Germany. I am majoring in business administration and will complete my bachelor´s degree by July 2023. 

Aside from my studies I am working as a Channel Sales Intern at VMware, Inc., and am passionate about entrepreneurship and startups. 

I am looking for an English-speaking full-time marketing and sales internship position in Seoul, South Korea for the second half of my gap year, starting March 2024.

I am currently (since July 2021) working as a Channel Sales Intern at VMware, Inc., a listed American corporation driving the world's digital infrastructure with its software-defined solutions.

My responsibilities at work are to drive and manage successful sales campaigns and events, develop positive working relationships with our channel partners to build business, and create our monthly DACH Partner Newsletter.

Aside from VMware, I am an advisory board member (former executive member) at thinc! e.V., one of the biggest student initiatives for entrepreneurship at the University of Mannheim. Through different programs such as workshops, masterclasses, foundertalks, mentorings and networking events we want to connect founders and students and motivate our members found their own start-up. 

I am currently in my final year of studies at the University of Mannheim, where I am completing my bachelor´s degree (Bachelor of Science) in business administration by July 2023. During my studies, I spent a semester abroad at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and learned about various elements of international business and researched sustainability topics, such as the path to reaching a carbon-neutral society.

Aside from my studies, I enjoy learning about new cultures and languages and constantly seek to broaden my knowledge. I am currently fluent in German, English, and Chinese and have a B2 language level in Spanish and French. I am looking forward to studying Korean in the upcoming year and am looking for opportunities to do an internship in South Korea starting in March 2024.
