About me
I'm a student at HTW Berlin pursuing my Masters in Data Science and Project Management. Here I learn statistics, data analytics, and machine learning to explore and analyze large datasets to find advantageous patterns for enterprises and Project Management techniques. 

Previously I worked as a Compliance Officer and studied law, finance, and commerce. Now I'm on the path to becoming a Data Scientist. 

I like to attend hackathons, workshops, and boot camps to learn new skills, build cool projects, and meet other enthusiastic folks. I also enjoy working on personal projects based on ideas that interest me or trying things that I've learned, particularly full-stack data-driven applications.

I code primarily in Python, using Pandas to work with data, Seaborn or Matplotlib to visualize it, scikit-learn for feature engineering, pre-processing data, and building models, Tensorflow to pre-process data, Keras to build neural networks, and Flask to host models and serve data to end users. I prefer using Jupyter Notebooks for exploration projects, SQL and in particular, PostgreSQL to store data on the backend, Tableau to build dashboard and visualizations, Heroku to deploy serves, Vercel and Netlify to deploy front ends, and Github to collaborate. I follow the Scrum principles to plan and execute from MVPs to more scalable and reliable applications.

My name is Rashmi DSouza, and I have a Master's degree in Data Science and Project Management. I am passionate about using my skills to solve real-world problems, and I am constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the field.

One of my highlights includes winning several hackathons such as Impact Hub's Circular Economy, Measure of Music, and Cheex. Additionally, I have offered my data science expertise to various multidisciplinary teams, where I have identified and pitched viable solutions, cleaned real-world messy business/user-generated data, built ML models, integrated via HTTP API, visualized insights, and deployed them on the cloud.

I have also participated in TechLabs Intensive Bootcamp twice for AI and Data Science, where I received extensive training, attended knowledge sharing events, and worked on projects with multidisciplinary teams. During this time, I led the team in managing the project scope while building two projects.

My education and prior experience as a Company Secretary and Compliance Manager have developed my skills in business acumen and strategy, clear, effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution. I am proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL, data manipulation tools such as Pandas, Numpy, and Jupyter, and visualization tools such as Tableau, Seaborn, Matplotlib, and Power BI.

I have experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and Big Data platforms such as Databricks and Pyspark. I am also skilled in machine learning frameworks such as Sci-kit learn and Tensorflow and computer vision tools such as Yolov5, OpenCV, Mediapipe, and Movenet. Furthermore, I have experience working with backend frameworks such as Flask, Azure Serverless Functions, and deployment tools such as Heroku, Vercel, Netlify, and Azure.

In terms of my project experience, I have worked on various projects such as AI Assistant for Posture Feedback during Workouts, Object & Facial Expression Detection in Images, Railway Service Realtime Feedback Analysis & Visualization with Twitter, Manufacturing Error Rate Prediction, Warehouse Performance Analytics, Baklava Detection in Images, and Toilet Recommendations.

In addition to my project experience, I have also worked as an Operations & Compliance Manager at Phoenix Courier & Cargo, Mumbai, a Company Secretary & Compliance Manager at Rainshine Entertainment, Mumbai, and a Company Secretary Associate at V Singhi & Associates, Mumbai.
