 Ensuring a proper accounting record of assets (acquisition, disposal, D&A, revaluation model etc...).  Verifying & approving the prepayments, accruals & deferrals transactions (booking & release).  Generating & booking the monthly wages & salaries in the sub-ledger.  Preparing on quarterly basis the VAT declaration.  Generating monthly accounting reports, income tax, social security fund, end of service indemnity, etc…  Checking & approving the inter-company accounts balances.  Following up on the process of the inventory cost flow assumption calculation’ record in the sub-ledger (purchase, sales, COGS, etc...).  Following up on bank accounts (interest capitalized, debit interest, bank charges, letter of credit, letter of guarantee, etc….).  Ensuring loan installments and the interest rate applied are in compliance with the repayment schedule.  Ensuring the WIP (work in process) is maintained effectively in regards of billing, revenue recognition, percentage of completion, etc…  Assisting and coordinating the preparation of the master budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances.  Preparing the capital budget analysis by adopting various methods for investment decision (Payback period, DCF, NPV, IRR).  Controlling & monitoring the company cash flow (Local & overseas inwards & outwards wire transfer).  Preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements (BS, P&L, SOCF, and SOCE) plus the assets history sheet (AHS) template.  Providing, interpreting & analyzing financial information reports.  Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.  Developing external relationship with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, Solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as Inland Revenue.
