I, the Chathura Ruwan Bandara Gawarammana a front-end focused software engineer and a technical lead in Angular which is an advanced Javscript software development framework, who is originally from Sri Lanka and recently moved into Berlin Germany under the opportunity card visa category. My current address is Metzer str, 8 13595 Berlin and under the process of acquiring both the registration from Burgermt and the residence permit. I am Married and have twin daughters of 6 years of age. As an individual I am enriched with good inter personal skills, communication skills, punctual, hardworking, adventurous, better team handling skills along with leadership qualities.

Initiation of my educational journey started at St Annes’ College Kurunegala Sri Lanka, one the best catholic schools in the country renown for both academic achievements and discipline. After successful completion of GCE ordinary level and advanced level on 2005, decided to continue with my higher educations in Information technology and Software Engineering at Sri Lanka Institute of Technology (SLIIT) on 2006, where I have successfully completed my Advanced diploma programme. Then after I admitted to the Sheffield Hallam university, Sheffield, UK to complete my BSc Hons Software Engineering degree on 2010 and completed with second class honors (first division). Afterwards, I have chosen the Enterprise Systems Professionals Postgraduate course to be commenced from 2011 which was completed successfully on 2012.

2013 May, I started to work as a trainee associate software engineer for the first at Inova It Systems Pvt Ltd Colombo Sri Lanka, while starting an illustrious carrier as a PHP developer. With an extensive training and being talented beyond the expectations of the company, the management offered me with a permanent software engineering position on 2014 Jan. As a responsible employee, I continue to grow with my technical capabilities and skills regarding my occupation and acquired extensive knowledge regarding PHP, Laravel, Codeigniter, Symphony, zend which are PHP frameworks. Moreover, I was a full-sack developer then while gaining database management technologies onboard which are MySql and Oracle. Object oriented patterns, Factory Pattern, Singleton Pattern, dependency Injection, Model view Control patterns were used in development as best coding practices. Agile Scrum and JIRA and many technologies were adopted to ensure a quality software production process and this has resulted me in outsourcing as a trusted resource to the companies outside even overseas as a Senior software engineer on 2017. 

2017 a year of deviation in my carrier, where I was reintroduced myself as a frontend focused developer in Angular, a modern leading Javascript framework. I joined HCL which is a world renown organization scattered all over the globe having more than 10 billion USD revenue per year, highly processed oriented working environment included with multinational personals. This was an opportunity for me to engage with overseas projects and teams where communication skill was a must.  I was a tech lead for a front-end development team where I had the opportunity to engage in back-end development as well. As a tech lead, I was involved in project planning too with clients. Since I was exposed to back-end development my interest grown towards becoming a fully-fledged full-stack developer in Angular and Springboot has grown. I had a short carrier with my next employer which is Virtusa unfortunately the opportunity did not align with my preferred tech-sack nevertheless I work with them for 6 months which was a bit tough in the aspect of working life.

Angular and Springboot is a unique tech-stack, which requires a considerably large learning curve. This tech-stack is highly used in developing enterprise level applications with high security and more functions. It is also more popular in European countries specially in Germany, where my aspiration to work in Germany blossomed. Once I decided to leave HCL and Virtusa and to find opportunities overseas, I specifically have given my focused to European countries specially Germany.

In search of opportunities, I came across with tie talent platform and strongly believe this platform is going to help me in search of carrier opportunities and also believe myself as a strong candidate for software engineering community in Berlin Germany and I am capable of offering more to the German community.
