Working on project titled “Synaptic aging as physiological synaptopathy”
Erfahrung
I have completed my bachelor's and master's in neuroscience from India and Germany respectively. During my tenure, I have learned many laboratory techniques. I am familiar with and an expert in working with human-induced pluripotent stem cells. The skills and my areas of expertise can be reflected in m CV

Doctoral Candidate at the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, Ulm University
· As the main project, working on Synaptic Aging as a physiological synaptopathy
using rat primary neurons overexpressing poly (GA) inclusions and hiPSCs
derived motor neurons from ALS patients to investigate the interplay between
synaptic and autophagic alterations. By using high-resolution microscopy,
multi-electrode array (MEA) and pharmacological approaches, the aim is to
uncover and rescue the neurophysiological abnormalities.
· As a side project, working to unravel the pathophysiology associated with the
novel ALS gene – KIF5A.
