Siegel Claire

Being recently graduated from ESCP Business School, my MSc in International Sustainability Management enabled me to develop solid knowledge about current climate and social issues in the business world. I have been particularly interested and involved in the classes of Impact investment in Africa, Business Ethics, Sustainability Governance as well as Eco-venturing. These have allowed me to become more familiar with the environmental, social, and ethical issues that private and public actors are facing more than ever. This master’s degree also included a consulting project in which groups of students were assigned to companies and clients to carry out a mandate proposed by the latter. My group and I had to create a roadmap to launch a sustainability strategy within the company Expert International and its group of alliance operating in 23 countries. 

After my professional experience in a Parisian luxury hotel as a CSR Intern, I would like to further apply these learnings in a company that is expert and willing to improve global practices in terms of social and environmental responsibility.

As an intern in charge of the expansion of the Sustainability strategy at rebuy recommerce GmbH, I was able to consolidate my skills in terms of research and project management. Indeed, the creation of a Code of Ethics for all facilities, the organisation of hybrid webinars on Circularity topics, or the awareness-raising of the employees are among the topics in which I had to get involved. In order to carry out these projects, I had to search, meet and select the external suppliers most likely to offer the best products and services the rebuy wished to offer to its stakeholders. 

Also, during my bachelor’s degree and within the HumaniTERRE interest group at HEC Montreal, I developed skills in communication, logistics and teamwork. As an organizer, I notably initiated, realized, and supervised two central events of this association: the Ecotech Challenge and the COP24 Simulation, detailed in my attached CV. Two events that require upstream organization over several months, budget planning, canvassing partners and juries as well as communication to attract students and gather enough teams. 

With an international background, my French and German family has given me the opportunity to live successively in Germany, Morocco, France, and Canada, and to feel at ease with foreign interlocutors with whom I have had the chance to practice English on a daily basis.
