I have a strong drive to put ideas into reality and deduce simple learnings from complex data sets. During my studies and PhD, I created a robust foundation in polymer processing and analytics, especially regarding polyolefin films and silicone rubber. My technical experience and data analysis skills help me to support and guide others in getting the answers they need and putting their ideas into reality.

7 years of industry-funded research focused on biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films for thin film capacitors:
- development of small-scale film production for low-threshold material development
- assessing short-term and long-term performance of commercial and laboratory BOPP films 
- lifetime analysis on commercially produced BOPP film capacitors
- formulation of innovative material systems (nanocomposites, blends etc.)
- broad spectrum of polymer analysis (DSC, SEM, FTIR, GPC, MFI), polymer processing (compounding, cast film extrusion, biaxial film stretching) and film analysis (dielectric strength, voltage endurance, roughness, shrinkage, optical microscopy) 

Additionally:
- 5 years of lecturing on crosslinked polymer systems
- developing a mini production line (10.000 pc.) for face masks during the Corona pandemic in 2020 with colleagues and employees from the University Clinic Erlangen
- Manyfold of successful industry projects with international companies
