Network Support Engineer

• Network Support Engineer level 1 work for multiple vendors Cisco, Juniper, Arris through testing various network devices including routers, switches, firewalls and optics
• Create Service Provider lab for customers testing - includes building Chassis, patching Ethernet and fibre optic cable
• Configure routers and switches in Service Provider lab for customers testing 
• Preparation of Cisco Supervisor Card, Line Card and Juniper Routing Engine for SLA site visits, includes upgrading software image and firmware, upload Slax scripts
• Update and document all lab equipment and cabling, rebuild racks with any equipment that is needed for daily testing
• Provide configurations for all devices so that the lab is one network and is manageable from anywhere in the lab
• Using Remedy Ticketing System, analyse the problem of multivendor parts in production, imitate the same behaviour in the lab to identify the error and troubleshoot
• Successful troubleshooting will be documented and communicated to the team using Remedy Service Management tool
• Raising Return to Manufacturer Authorisation (RMA) for faulty items using multivendor RMA process, includes Cisco RMA, Juniper RMA and Arris RMA
• Pre-staging of routers and switches using CLI and GUI to deploy in customer premises
• Provide training to apprentice
