I am an experienced scientist with over six years of expertise in canola (Brassica napus) microspore culture and double haploid production. My background includes extensive research and hands-on experience in plant breeding, tissue culture, and molecular breeding techniques. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation in the laboratory. I excel in leading and mentoring technical teams, developing and optimizing protocols, and implementing advanced technologies to improve lab performance and achieve project goals. I am a dedicated scientist with over six years of experience specializing in canola (Brassica napus) microspore culture and double haploid production. My career began at Saaten Union Biotec GmbH, where I led various research projects in plant breeding and tissue culture. My role involved developing and optimizing protocols for double haploid production, ensuring high-quality embryo and plantlet production, and managing a team of laboratory technicians. I also gained extensive experience in data analysis and visualization, applying statistical methods to extract valuable insights and improve laboratory processes. My passion for plant science and commitment to excellence have driven me to stay current with technological advancements and continuously improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.

I hold a Ph.D. in Plant Cell Culture from Humboldt University of Berlin, where I specialized in date palm in vitro propagation. After my doctoral research I worked on developing and optimizing protocols for double haploid production in canola, which has significantly contributed to advancements in plant breeding. In addition to my Ph.D., I completed a comprehensive five-month Data Analyst course, where I gained expertise in statistics, R programming, Python, SQL, data analytics, and data engineering. This training has equipped me with the skills to analyze complex data sets and apply statistical methods to enhance research outcomes and laboratory processes.
