- Responsibilities:
- Develop and test packaging designs and prototypes based on customer requirements
- Create and implement suitable testing methods for packaging design development and validation
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing to ensure optimal production processes
- Troubleshoot existing packaging issues related to designs, materials, and processes
- Analyze and define packaging drawings and specifications to determine physical properties, environmental and sustainability aspects, and safety requirements of materials
- Evaluate and select packaging suppliers and materials
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, product management, quality, sales, and procurement teams
- Participate in product launch teams
- Identify and execute initiatives to save costs related to packaging materials, quality, sustainability, efficiency, transportation, and storage
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure packaging exceeds customer specifications
- Requirements:
- Several years of experience in modern packaging development
- In-depth legal and technical knowledge of packaging and materials
- Relevant degree in fields such as mechanical engineering or packaging technology
- Proficient in CAD and modeling software
- Strong organizational skills
- Deep understanding of project management
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel within Europe
