- You will help establish our customer's data strategy and their steps to success, with our customers and with our teams
- As an expert in the sphere of data analytics, you will be seen as an expert on issues of market usage of data architecture, design and implementation
- You'll lead your prospects through understanding the value, the evaluation and adoption of Databricks
- Support your customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos and demo applications
- Successfully integrate Databricks with 3rd-party applications to support customer architectures
- You'll engage with the data community by leading workshops, seminars and meet-ups
- Together with your account executive, you will form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to provide value
What we look for: - Comfortable with navigating customer and partner hierarchies and building relationships
- Passionate about working as part of a team to orchestrate success for your customer
- Explain technical concepts to outcomes
- Experience working in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles with clients at different levels from leadership to technical teams to make them successful
- Experience creating customer-facing collateral and displaying expertise in customer or industry events
- Design architectures within a public cloud (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark
- Comfortable writing code in either Python, Scala or Java
- A core strength in either data analytics or data engineering or data science is advantageous
