- Develop conceptual solutions for complex assemblies, manufacturing tools, press mechanizations, and processes independently
- Independently design complex manufacturing tools using CATIA
- Analyze constructive requirements of development, tool manufacturing processes, press operation, and suppliers
- Manage the constructive implementation through external design offices and monitor project progress
- Ensure costs, deadlines, and quality and be accountable for them if necessary
- Evaluate tool change scopes regarding feasibility, costs, process safety, and deadlines
- Modify manufacturing tool designs in the CAD geometry model based on measurement results, change orders, and quality optimizations
- Responsible for the acceptance and release of manufacturing results from external design offices
- Hold a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience in metal technology
- Expert knowledge in sheet metal forming technology and experience with CAD systems such as Catia V5 or Tebis
- Sound knowledge in tool and plant engineering
- Demonstrate strong assertiveness and persuasiveness
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Fluent in German and English
