- Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software and web applications
- Contributing to the implementation of new features based on business requirements
- Collaborating with a team of developers and product managers
- Assisting in writing software documentation
- Assisting in software testing
- Researching software packages and alternative solutions to problems.
- Enrolled student at the University in Rostock, preferably in the fields of Computer Engineering or similar
- Good programming skills (preferred language is Python, others include SQL, JavaScript)
- Web Development: Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Django Framework: Experience with Django, its ORM, and its templating language. Familiarity with Django REST Framework would be a plus.
- Databases: Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite etc., and understanding of SQL.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Open-minded and keen to work in a multicultural multidisciplinary team
- Very good command of English (C1)
- Good communications skills
- Willing and capable of learning new technologies quickly
- Understanding and experience with connected data or graph databases like Neo4j is a plus.
