- BSc or higher in computer science, electrical engineering or related field c
- Strong proficiency in C++ and software development best practices.
- Experience and strong knowledge in IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Networking (layers 1 to 3) and their respective software stacks.
- Experience in Ethernet and networking concepts, including VLAN, TCP/IP, UDP, and QoS.
- Experience in automotive Ethernet switches configuration and management.
- Familiarity with network security like IPsec and MACsec
- Familiarity with automotive communication standards such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.
- Experience in developing for embedded RTOS systems, preferably in automotive context (with AUTOSAR)
- Knowledge in scripting languages (e. g. Python)

If I told you that you have the opportunity to join one of the world's most recognised automotive companies, that would be pretty cool wouldn't it?
That's exactly what we have here - they're looking for a Senior Software Developer – Automotive Switch and Ethernet to join them onsite (predominantly) in the wonderful city of Munich.
In this permanent role, you will be responsible for the ethernet connectivity and switch integration for our client next gen central ECUs., whilst working within an extremely talented and diverse team.
