GENERAL INFORMATION

Under the joint directorship of Prof. Lukas Löhlein, Prof. Marko Reimer, and Prof. Utz Schäffer, the Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) is a leading think tank specializing in management accounting and control, integrating concepts from economics and the social sciences.

YOUR MISSION

Work on stimulating research questions such as:
- Exploring the impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence on finance & controlling.
- Ensuring companies align their practices with environmental and social responsibilities.
- Enhancing performance management flexibility and adaptability in organizations.
- Empowering CFOs and controllers to drive corporate transformation.
The specific focus of your dissertation will be determined in collaboration with your supervisors, welcoming discussions on the provided questions and any additional ideas you may have.
