We design, develop and manufacture high-tech sensors for autonomous driving, intelligent traffic infrastructure and smart cities. We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer.

Your Tasks

Embedded software development, mainly in C, to a limited extent in C and Python
Design and implementation of application software for automotive, industrial and defense radar sensors
Integration of software modules from other groups, creation and adaptation of s/w interfaces
Unit- and integration testing (GoogleTest and PyTest)
Contribution to the s/w development process: feature ticket creation, analysis, implementation, testing
Customer interaction with regard to requirements, testing, problem solving

Your Strengths

Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field
Significant professional experience in software development, especially in embedded C software development
In addition to very good programming skills in C/C , basic Python skills are important
Experience with relevant systems such as JIRA, Redmine, and GIT would be desirable
Knowledge of Linux would also be an advantage
You enjoy working in a team and have a hands-on mentality
Good to very good English skills are required

Deine Aufgaben

Entwicklung eingebetteter Software, hauptsächlich in C, in begrenztem Umfang auch in C und Python
Entwurf und Implementierung von Anwendungssoftware für Radarsensoren in den Bereichen Automobil, Industrie und Verteidigung
Integration von Softwaremodulen anderer Gruppen, Erstellung und Anpassung von Software-Schnittstellen
Unit- und Integrationstests (GoogleTest und PyTest)
Mitwirkung am Softwareentwicklungsprozess: Erstellung von Feature-Tickets, Analyse, Implementierung, Tests
Kundeninteraktion in Bezug auf Anforderungen, Tests und Problemlösung

Deine Stärken

Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektro-Technik, Informatik, Mathe, Physik oder vergleichbarer Themenbereich
Signifikante Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung vor allem in der Embedded C Softwareentwicklung
Neben sehr guten Programmierkenntnissen in C/C , sind grundlegende Python Kenntnisse wichtig
Wünschenswert wären Erfahrungen mit einschlägigen Systemen wie JIRA, Redmine, GIT
Auch Kenntnisse in Linux wären von Vorteil
Du arbeitest gerne im Team und besitzt eine "Hands-on-Mentalität"
Gute bis sehr gute Englischkenntnisse sind notwendig
