    Job Description

  • During your assignment you are responsible for Project management for Planning Cost Reduction with responsibility for one product area.
  • Lead the process from Ideation to Implementation of cost saving measures.
  • Plan, organize and support cost reduction workshops with the global engineering team.
  • Evaluate the cost saving ideas with the support an interdisciplinary team.
  • Setup a business case and prepare the management presentation for the introduction approval.
  • Support the customer project leader during the implementation phase; this will bring you in contact with our global organization. This requires to coordinate all cost reduction projects and activities, mainly Germany, Hungary, USA, Mexico, China, India and Australia.
  • Support the improvement of cost reduction process with purchasing, development, project management and manufacturing in exchange meetings with other BOSCH divisions.
  • Help to organize the monthly management meeting for your product area and get the chance to present your project.
  • Support the controlling team to setup the monthly management report.
  • Qualifications

  • Education : You will have completed a university degree (Bachelor's) in the area of Engineering, Management, Computer Science or Economics and have obtained above-average results and will have the firm intention to take up a Master's course thereafter.
  • Experience and Knowledge: automotive, hardware engineering or project management preferred
  • Personality and Working Practice: decisive, organized, team driven, adaptable, dedicated, outgoing with a global outlook
  • Languages : English C1 level mandatory, German B1 preferred

    The Bosch PreMaster Program is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase offers up to 12 months of practical experience as part of a gap year to learn about technical and business contexts. The second phase comprises the Master's course and includes further practical experience in the context of student employment as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.

    Start: September 2024 / according to prior agreement.
