What to Expect

• As an IT Network Specialist, you will manage and optimize DZ BANK's operational network management, working closely with our network service provider to resolve network disturbances and performance issues.
• You will also be responsible for operating network-specific security infrastructures in our internal network and at our Cloud Hyperscalers, ensuring the best possible security.
• Your expertise will help reduce network-related risks and strategically develop our network operations with your innovative ideas.
• You will act as a point of contact for the entire bank, including planning cost/benefit assessments and supporting the implementation of the bank's strategy in your area of expertise.
• Additionally, you will actively participate in firewall management processes, change control, administration of complex network infrastructures, and ensure stable system operations, including planning and implementing release changes.
• You will be responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements and technical standards, as well as leading projects.
• Your responsibilities will also include planning, developing, and documenting new and existing network structures, as well as creating and maintaining complex scripts for system administration, monitoring, and automation.

What You Bring

• Successful degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar - alternatively, a comparable completed education.
• Solid professional experience in enterprise network infrastructure, preferably with Cisco products and technologies such as Application Centric Infrastructure and Software-Defined WAN.
• Familiarity with firewall management, ideally with Tufin Orchestration Suite and products from Check Point and Fortinet.
• Knowledge in configuring IT security infrastructures (e.g., DMZ and Zero Trust), current developments, methods, tools, and IT processes according to ITIL, preferably with ServiceNow.
• Proficient in building cloud infrastructures through development pipelines using IaC and securely applying necessary tools (GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, etc.).
• Willingness to participate in shifts (early/late shifts) and on-call duties.
• Good English language skills.
