Our client is an international bank in Zurich. We are looking for an international tax analyst (m, f, d) private markets as aSpecialist International Tax Fund ManagementYour Tasks:
Assist with German and U.S.
tax for hedge fund, private equity, private credit and private real estate investments / Assist with research and analysis for compliance with German and U.S.
tax laws / Analyse technical tax issues with appropriate consideration of risk / Ensure that tax analyses are prepared to a high standard / Calculate taxes in time and review tax returns / Prepare tax reports for investors and government agencies / POC for tax law in asset management / Analyse technical tax issues with appropriate consideration of risk / Collaborate in the design of client-friendly presentations for senior management and investor events / Collaboration with external business partners / Analysis of newsletters and guidelines from authorities, including FINMA among others / Contribution to the development and automation of new and existing processes and tools / Ad-hoc tax projects.
Your Profile:
Master's degree in Accounting, Tax or Business Law / Tax expert, LL.M.
or in education / Professional experience in asset management in the fund industry, in a Big Four firm or international tax firm / Knowledge of concepts of taxation, tax compliance as well as the relevant tax laws / Understanding of the peculiarities of the private equity market / Knowledge of carried interest and waterfall calculation models / Analytical personality / Efficient, organized, independent way of working / "Can do" attitude / Ability to set priorities / Strong communication skills / MS-Office, Excel / German and English.
