    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting monthly payroll accounting using DATEV and LODAS programs, including timekeeping and certificates, and being the first point of contact for payroll and social security law questions
    • Ensuring efficient and compliant payroll processes
    • Preparing registrations and deregistrations as well as annual reports for health insurance funds
    • Monitoring vacation days and sick leave through the scheduling program
    • Handling sick notes and coordinating sick pay with health insurance companies in special cases
    • Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including social security contributions, garnishments, and company savings plans
    • Maintaining master data in the payroll systems
    • Generating reports and statistics
    • Monitoring compliance and adapting to legal requirements in payroll accounting
    • Handling administrative tasks related to employee onboarding, changes, and exits, and liaising with authorities and social security institutions

    Requirements:

    • Completed commercial training
    • Strong professional experience in payroll accounting, preferably in a company
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
    • High affinity for numbers, accurate and diligent work
    • Independent, responsible, and reliable work ethic
    • Organizational skills and strong communication abilities
