- Building heat exchangers is our business – in that, research & innovation is the starting point for technical excellence. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing the designs of our plate heat exchangers based on computer simulations and thermodynamic expertise.
- The head of plate research reports to the head of research & innovation within our technology organization. You will be managing a team of innovators across two of our German locations, Sarstedt and Nobitz-Wilchwitz, and potentially other Kelvion locations.
- You will interact with other technology functions like product development and product line management, but also with functions outside technology like sales and manufacturing.
- You hold a university degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, physics or process engineering. You have already worked in this area for a couple of years and have gathered respective experience, preferably with heat exchangers.
- You have experience with relevant simulation software, CAD and MS Office products, paired with your ability to explain and present your work and working results in a simplified and convincing manner. You also enjoy driving change and innovation in a corporate environment and developing your team.
- Your ability tothink and solve problems in an analytical way comes without saying. A good command of German and English is a must, any other language is helpful.
