    We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Systems Engineer (m/w/d) to take up the challenge of updating and maintaining the web and mail hosting infrastructure that enables us to host hundreds of thousands of websites, and email accounts on hundreds of servers.

  • Your areas of responsibility will be:

  • Working with Linux based open source software solutions
  • Architect and write the code that allows us to move forward with best in class services
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team that keeps the systems healthy during daily operation
  • Maintaining and improving our internal services required for to run hundreds of thousands of websites and mail accounts across multiple brands
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams across the other offices in Europe
  • Your skills:

  • Strong Linux skills
  • A solid understanding of distributed systems
  • Experience with internet infrastructure such as virtualization, DNS, LAMP, Plesk
  • Experience with automating administrative tasks in a Linux environment through the use if configuration management and workflow tools
  • You are prepared to work in shifts (Mon-Fri: 6.00 a.m. - midnight + on-call duty, which is attractively remunerated)
