- In your new role, you will manage the engineering of systems for light rail vehicles (including traction, on-board power supply, brakes, suspension, gangways, couplings, pneumatics, hydraulics, sanding and flange oilers) from the offer process through to warranty.
- You will be the technical and disciplinary leader of a team of approx employees.
- You are responsible for the system architectures of the associated systems and are the contact person for project management, interface partners, approval and customers.
- You will be responsible for the requirements specifications, taking into account the standards of the associated systems, as well as all subsequent process steps (including design support, support for acceptance and approval).
- The basis of your success is a completed technical Master's degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or comparable).
- You have many years of professional and project experience in rail vehicle projects (preferably in at least one of the systems mentioned).
- You have specialist knowledge of the function and architecture as well as the requirements (including approval) and standards of the systems mentioned (preferably light rail).
- You are experienced in working with international heterogeneous teams and in communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are familiar with the proactive management of risks and opportunities.
- In addition, you already have experience in employee management (technical or disciplinary).
- You communicate confidently in German and English and are willing to travel occasionally (approx. 10-20%).
