Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Airfreight Export and Import Operations Specialist to join a team in Frankfurt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of airfreight export and import operations, ensuring the smooth flow of cargo through Frankfurt Airport and compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.

Export Operations:

• Coordinate export shipments, including booking cargo space with airlines, arranging pickup and delivery, and preparing export documentation.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and international trade policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and agents to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to facilitate customs clearance processes.
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely departure of goods to meet customer requirements.

Import Operations:

• Handle import shipments, including coordinating customs clearance, arranging delivery to final destinations, and managing documentation processes.
• Liaise with overseas agents, airlines, and freight forwarders to track inbound shipments and ensure timely arrival at Frankfurt Airport.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate warehouse operations and distribution of imported goods.
• Verify import documentation for accuracy and completeness, resolving any discrepancies or issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and duty rates.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, providing shipment updates, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction with our airfreight services.
