    Your Role

    We are seeking an experienced workflow automation developer to join our team in designing and implementing a web-based workflow tool tailored for Spatial Biology applications. You are our ideal candidate if you bring in a strong background in web development, have an interest in software architecture and a passion for creating intuitive and innovative functionality to enhance research in the field of Spatial Biology. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biologists, pathologists, and data scientists to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design, develop, and maintain a web-based pathology workflow system
  • Implement features for image upload, storage, retrieval, and visualization, ensuring compatibility with various image formats and data standards
  • Develop interactive tools and interfaces to enable users to analyze and annotate pathology images
  • Optimize system performance and scalability to handle large volumes of high-resolution pathology images and associated metadata
  • Work closely with software architects and explain software architecture and rationale for decisions to other team members
  • Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in web development with expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like or AngularJS
  • Familiarity with back-end development using languages such as Python, C#, Ruby, or , and frameworks like Django, Ruby on Rails, or
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with data modeling, query optimization, and indexing
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including version control (e.g., Git), testing methodologies, and deployment strategies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in biomedical or healthcare-related projects is a plus
