    Scientific environment

    The professorship will be assigned to the TUMDepartment of Chemistry at the TUM School of Natural Sciences. Relevant activitiesat TUM, e.g. the excellence cluster "e-conversion" and the Catalysis Research Center,or at TUMCreate (Singapore) as well as the interdisciplinary researchenvironment at TUM foster an excellent environment for research and teaching.

    Responsibilities

    The responsibilities include research and teaching aswell as the promotion of early-career scientists. We seek to appoint an expertin the research area of Macromolecular Science with a focus onsustainable monomer/polymer synthesis, polymerization catalysis and/orfunctional/responsive polymer materials. Teaching responsibilities include courses in theuniversity's bachelor and master programs.

    Qualifications

    We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated excellentachievements in research and teaching in an internationally recognizedscientific environment, relative to the relevant career level (please see TUM Neue Helvetica 55 Regular",sans-serif;mso-ansi-language:EN-US" lang="EN-US"> for further information). A university degree and anoutstanding doctoral degree or equivalent scientific qualification, as well aspedagogical aptitude, are prerequisites. Substantial research experience abroadas well as full commitment for collaboration with industrial partners isexpected.
